Producer, Director, Writer, Video Editor, and Script Supervisor from Portland OR.

I’m an actor sometimes too.

ABOUT ME

I am 25 years old. My pronouns are He/Him/His.

I recently graduated from the film program at Portland State University, and during my time there I worked on multiple independent productions, including shorts, my own web series and a feature film.

I prefer to work behind the scenes, but I have no problem with getting in front of the camera too.

I have experience with crew management, production scheduling, continuity supervision, creative direction, and content production.

My goals are always to ensure that productions run smoothly and efficiently, while also striving to retain the kind of positive energy I like to facilitate on set each day.

MY WORK

PRODUCER/VIDEO EDITOR

My producing experience comes from the time I spent running the film review web series, Welcome To StubTown at Sub-Basement Studios (formerly PSU.tv). I was in charge of the show for two years, and worked with the crew to create 19 episodes in that time, ranging anywhere from 22-55 minutes each.

Aside from producing the show I wrote, directed, edited, and co-hosted most episodes as well.

DIRECTOR/WRITER

Aside from directing and writing every episode of Welcome To StubTown I also created a comedy-thriller short film in 2019 called, Mr. Nugget. The short was taken through pre-pro and into production within a week, and shot over the course of two days in Portland, OR.

It was publicly released for the first time in December 2020 as part of the Sub-Basement Studios Fall Film Festival.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

I acted as 1st Assistant Director to co-directors Lyn Loo and Christopher Colin on the short film, Quince. For this project I was in charge of scheduling shoot days, coordinating crews, and ensuring that production goals were reached on time each day, in addition to providing support to the two directors wherever necessary. Production took place over two weekends in February 2020.

Quince was released in April 2020 as part of the PSU.tv Spring Film Festival.

SCRIPT SUPERVISOR

Most of my on-set experience outside of the web series comes from acting as Script Supervisor on multiple independent projects. These range from music videos, to shorts, and a feature film.

The feature, Fencesitters, was directed by Emma Josephson, written by Brittany Villela, and produced by Lyn Loo. Principal production took place from June to August 2019. As one of two script supervisors on set, my daily tasks included ensuring continuity for actors, makeup, costumes, props, and set decorations. I was also tasked with keeping track of takes and the director’s notes on them, then relaying that information to the sound department for organizational purposes.

Fencesitters is scheduled for release in 2021.

Most of my Script Supervisor work is very similar what I did on Fencesitters. Some of my other credits include Cultivar (dir. Brittany Villela, 2020), Shreds (dir. Jessie Barr, 2020), and There’s No Tomorrow (dir. Natalie Eng, 2020).

ACTOR

On a few productions I’ve also stepped in front of the camera and done some acting. This includes the acting I did in Welcome To StubTown and Mr. Nugget, as well as shorts like Executor (dir. Brittany Villela, 2019), and You Have To Believe Me (dir. Aaron Clausen, 2019).

I haven’t done much acting in a while, but it is something I’ve always enjoyed doing, especially on my own projects. I hope to be able to do more in the future.
